Blue Hawks shut down Lights in season-opener

The Montana State University-Northern defense did all it could in its season-opening game with the Dickinson State Blue Hawks Saturday night in Dickinson, N.D. But the DSU defense did even more.

The Blue Hawks started Northern's Aaron Christensen era off with a 17-7 win over the Lights Saturday night. The loss sent MSU-N to a 0-1 start, and it was DSU's first win over Northern since August of 2013.
