Setback for Rocky Boy's Plain Green in federal court

Plain Green, the online Rocky Boy’s Indian Reservation-based high-interest loan company, has suffered a legal setback in U.S. District Court in Northern Illinois, the Chicago area.

A U.S. District Court judge has ruled that a company trying to collect on a loan made by Plain Green does not have authority to enforce a loan agreement with a Chicago-area man because the deal was made under tribal law.
