Obituary - Robert Koszewski

Robert Joseph Koszewski of Havre passed away Tuesday, Sept. 8, 2015. He was 45.

A memorial service will be held Wednesday, Sept. 16, at 2 p.m. at Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Great Falls.

Robert loved his family, especially his mother, Kathy, his sister, Jennifer, and his niece and nephew. He enjoyed reading, cooking, drawing and spending time with his friends, Tom and Jona Bleskin.

Robert graduated from Havre High, attended the University of Great Falls and Montana State University-Northern and was a member of the Eagles and the Knights of Columbus.

He was unfailingly positive, kind, gentle and told great jokes with a great laugh. But he was also a fighter, never willing to give up on himself, his family or what was right.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Kathleen Remington; his grandma and grandpa, Virginia and James Stevenson; and his uncle, Ray Remington.

His leaves behind his loving sister, Jennifer Koszewski-Nwaokoro, and nephew and niece, Antonio and Sophie Nwaokoro, of Houston, Texas; as well as his uncle, Dan Remington of Portland, Ore., his aunt, Julie Remington of Great Falls, and many cousins and friends.
