The website http://www.myneighborinneed.org/havre provides local citizens a way to ask for help from their community and a way for the community to give back.

Recently Fulfilled Needs

Neighbor in Need — A young couple was in need of a used/clean or new twin bed system (mattress and box spring) for their 2-year-old child. Dad works but it is for low wages and mom is expecting their next child. Their need was confirmed and posted on line as well as featured in the Havre Daily News. Thanks to several donors we were able to provide them with a new bed system from Valley Furniture who provided the bed to us at a discounted price. Thank-you goes out to the caring donors!

Neighbor in Need — A single mother was in need of multiple twin beds for her children. We spoke with her and verified her story through our partners at HRDC. Her need was approved and posted on http://www.myneighborinneed.org/havre and featured in the Havre Daily News. Thanks to several kind donors we were able to recruit the needed beds and our friends at Valley Furniture delivered the beds for free. You all rock.

In the past two-weeks, we have been able to provide a total of four twin beds and two queen beds to our neighbors in need.

In addition to the Good Deed Doers listed above, we would also like to thank the Havre Police Protective Association for their donation of $452 as well as $150 in donations received from anonymous individuals living in Havre and Chinook.

Financial need donations are made directly to the business that will fulfill the need.

Request help at http://www.my neighborinneed.org by completing the Request a Need form and clicking submit. If you do not have Internet access, call 406-301-3919. You can also pick-up an application at the HRDC Office at 2229 5th Ave. in Havre.
