Friday's Prep Football: Ponies turn away Panthers in Belgrade

The Havre Blue Ponies took a giant step towards winning the Central A championship Friday night with a 40-27 win in Belgrade. Dane Warp threw three touchdown passes and the Ponies dominated the second half after a 20-20 tie at intermission. If HHS beats Lewistown next Friday night, the Ponies will win the conference title outright, and have a bye in the first round of the Class A playoffs.
