Quick Pic: Helping the Friends help the park

Donna Murdy looks at some of the items Saturday at the Eagles Club that were available for the silent auction at the Friends of Beaver Creek Park benefit. A record crowd was on the hand for the benefit, which raises money to help pay for items needed at the park. The county-owned the park receives no subsidy from Hill County, with its operation funded by fees such as for park permits and cattle grazing leases.
