What was scheduled as a hearing in state District Court on whether a Havre woman was competent to stand trial changed tone Tuesday when attorneys submitted a signed plea agreement and Arlene D. Morsette pleaded guilty to six charges stemming from the armed robbery of a Havre pharmacy July 21, 2014.
In the agreement, Morsette also agrees to plead guilty to a charge of criminal distribution of dangerous drugs in a case alleging that, on two occasions in October 2014, she sold drugs to an informant of the Tri-Agency Safe Trails Task Force in stings, with children present while she did so.
