Pony spikers ready for the challenge

It has been eight years since the Havre High volleyball team has played in the Class A state tournament, at least it will be until the Blue Ponies step onto the court in Bozeman Thursday in their first match at the state tournament since 2007.

Playing at state may have been a rarity in recent years for Havre, but once upon a time, the Blue Ponies were regular participants, unlike their first-round opponent Butte Central, which is making just the second appearance in school history.
