Incident at hospital emergency room

Havre police are looking for a 6-foot-two-inch Native American male who was involved in an incident at Northern Montana Hospital’s emergency room this morning.

Police got a call around 10 a.m. today.

They gave this account:

Police were summoned to the scene after a victim was brought in by ambulance. The victim thought he saw the perpetrator of the incident outside the hospital.

From surveillance video, police know the suspect entered the hospital.

Police conducted a floor-by-floor search of the hospital in hopes they could find the suspect. That search was not fruitful.

The suspect potentially had a weapon, police said, so the hospital initiated its security measures.

Police believe that the suspect saw an officer and fled the hospital using a side door.

He is driving a dark blue Chrysler 200.

Police suspect he has fled the city.
