Internet dangers assembly set for Dec. 1

Blaine County Undersheriff Frank J. Billmayer II will speak at 7 p.m., Tuesday, Dec 1, in Havre High School's auditorium during an informational assembly for students, parents and interested residents about dangers that could arise when children and teenagers use the Internet.

The program is sponsored by the Montana Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force,.

The program was developed in response to the increasing number of children and teenagers using the Internet.

There has been a proliferation of child sexual abuse images available electronically and heightened online activity by predators seeking unsupervised contact with potential underage victims
