Area spikers earn Class C honors

The fall sports season is now over, but honors lists will pour in in the coming weeks. And for area volleyball, those lists include top honors for many District 6C East players.

The District 6C East All-Conference team included Chinook's Brooke Nicholson, Abby Ellison and Cortney Gunderson the First Team, which was also composed of North Star's Sheridan O'Neil and Graysen Spicher, and Chester/J-I's Allix Goldhahn.

The 6C East Second Team was made up of Chinook's Kelsey Mathon and Lauren Harshman, C/J-I's Madeline Woods and Erin Wolfe, North Star's Sheridan Spicher and Big Sandy's Molly Kain.

Nicholson also earned the state's highest honor, taking home Class C First-Team All-State in her senior season. Ellison and Gunderson were also named Class C Second-Team All-State, while Goldhahn and Graysen Spicher earned Class C All-State Honorable Mention.
