Obituary - Vincent Eagleman

Vincent Eagleman, better known as Charlie "Chuck" The Boy, 49, of Rocky Boy passed suddenly from natural causes on Friday, Jan. 15, 2016.

Throughout his life, Charlie brought much joy and happiness to everyone he met. He touched many hearts with his generosity, kindness, compassion and easy-going spirit. He was always laughing or teasing and often had nicknames for everyone he talked to. Charlie was known to always help and lend a hand wherever and whenever he was asked without hesitation. He was very instrumental in shaping the lives of his nephew and nieces, especially Ennis, Frankie, Haile and Jimi. He loved them all dearly.

Charlie was a master carpenter and could quickly build anything he put his mind to. He was a hard worker and liked to get things done quickly. He took great pride in his work and people often asked him to fix or build things for them.

Charlie loved to follow the Box Elder Bears around the state and was one of their biggest fans and supporters. He also enjoyed watching his grandchildren and cheering them on in anything they did. He loved to watch his little brother, Brandon, play for the Bears, and showed him the Meadowlark Lemmon hook shot from half-court, making the basket off the glass on his first try while wearing his Chuck Taylors.

He could often be found working around his home doing yard work, planting trees and flowers, and building things. He enjoyed cooking and having people over to his house to celebrate birthdays, games on television, barbecues and Sunday breakfast.

He loved exploring and going on spontaneous adventures and trips with Jill to see and try new things. Charlie had big dreams and was always working toward making those dreams a reality.

He liked to fish, hunt and ride his four-wheeler around. He also liked to drive his old red truck around the mountains. He loved his dog, Timmy, and loved spending time with him.

He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Jill Monteau; his father, Vernon The Boy of Rocky Boy; his brothers, James "Midge" (Julie), Jesse, Elliot, Paul and Brandon The Boy, all of Rocky Boy; sisters, Paulette Pipe and Robin (Neal) Rosette, all of Rocky Boy; sons, Ryan and Michael "Vsvp" (Lariss) Sangrey and Jamie Doney; daughters, Bobbi Jo (Randall) and Ann Favel; beloved granddaughters, Jour'dai Coffee, Mykell Sangrey and Jordan Henry; beloved grandsons, Robert and Talon Sangrey; adopted brothers, Macon, Jonas and Jesse Crow, Ortin Rock and Jason Belcourt; adopted sister, Priscilla Friede; and numerous beloved aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and other extended family and friends.
