St. Jude Thaddeus School students burned palms Monday from last year's Easter season services. The ashes will be rubbed on the foreheads of the faithful Wednesday, Ash Wednesday, as part of the annual ceremony to remind them of their mortality. The palms are the ones that were distributed on Palm Sunday in 2015.
