Pink Floyd Tribute band coming to Havre June 10

PINKY and the FLOYD will pay tribute to the legendary rock band Pink Floyd in Havre June 10 at the Havre Ice Dome, just south of town on 5th Avenue.

In the past seven years PINKY and the FLOYD has earned a reputation as one of the best Pink Floyd Tribute bands in the Northwest, playing sold out shows in Montana, Idaho and Wyoming, a press release announcing the concert says.

“Fans know PINKY as a Montana staple in the music scene with crowds reaching 5,000+ including die-hard fans ranging in ages from 5 to 95 (true story)” the release says, adding, “As one fan so succinctly put it, ‘Hands down, the BEST show we have ever been to!’”

The band has performed at several regional festivals including “Rockin’ the Rivers” in 2010 and 2012, “The Spruce Moose Festival” in 2010, “Music in the Mountains” in 2012, “Bozeman Public Library Summer Series” in 2010 and 2012, “Summerfest” in 2012, “Big Sky PBR Rodeo” in 2013 and “Music on Main” in 2015.

Their performances have sold out consistently for the past seven years, the release says, while their repertoire has grown steadily and solidly to include something from every Pink Floyd studio album including several in their entirety: “Dark Side of the Moon,” “Animals,” “The Wall,” “Wish You Were Here” and “The Divison Bell.”
