Havre Police Department

Officers assisted a citizen after a caller on 1st Street reported Monday at 10:16 a.m. that a power cable line had been hit.

Joseph Curry Braaten, 31, of Havre was arrested for driving with a suspended or revoked driver's license on 7th Avenue during a motor vehicle stop at 12:26 p.m. Monday.

Officers investigated a motor vehicle crash at 1st Street and 5th Avenue after a caller reported Monday at 3:59 p.m. that a vehicle wrecked into some parked cars. An ambulance was requested and sent to the scene.

Officers assisted another agency Monday at 5:08 p.m. on 2nd Street on a report of a found pipe. A summons was issued, but no further information was provided.

Officers made an arrest on 1st Street West after a caller reported Monday at 5:38 p.m. that a SUV pulled out and veered into traffic. No further information was provided.

Officers made an arrest and issued two summonses after a caller from a 1st Street business reported that a man in a cowboy hat had trespassed after having been warned not to come back. Kim Allen Norquay Sr., 57, of Hays was arrested on charges of criminal trespass to property and revocation of suspended or deferred sentence; Carl John Morsette, 43, of Havre was issued a summons for charges of revocation of suspended or deferred sentence and obstructing a peace officer; and Ionia Lohman, 53, of Havre was issued a summons for obstructing a peace officer.

Officers investigated a found bicycle Monday at 9:06 p.m.

An officer initiated a motor vehicle stop Monday at 11:26 p.m. No further information was provided about the incident.
