Obituary - Scott Angelo Pizzini

Scott Angelo Pizzini, 52, of Havre, Montana, passed away June 29, 2016.

Cremation has taken place, and a celebration of life will take place at the Shanty Bar on July 9, at 1 p.m.

Scott was born to Angelo and Marilyn Pizzini on Jan. 16, 1964. Scott was raised in Havre, Montana, and lived there his entire life. In his spare time he enjoyed going to the Davey farm. Scott graduated from Havre High School in 1982. He met his wife, June Grassel, in 1990 at the Plainsman Bar. They married on Jan. 4, 1996, and the couple made their home in Havre. They had a son, Daniel, on Jan. 31, 1996. He was very proud of him.

Scott was diagnosed in 2014 with ESRD and multiple myeloma, and he fought it for two years. He got to know the girls at Dialysis and he was very fond of them. Thank you, Dialysis Team, Dr. Martin and Team at Sletten and all who helped Scott the last two years. Thank you.

Scott was a hard-working man holding various jobs, including the bowling alley and Moore's Ranch. He worked for Hi-Line Roofing for many years until May 2007, when Scott and June bought the company. June worked side by side with Scott, and when their son Daniel was old enough, he joined them in the company.

In his spare time, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, his garden, playing cards at the cabin, playing cribbage up at Dialysis with June and Daniel, taking drives on back roads with the family and their dog, Rusty Pizzini, and spending time with his family and friends on the Davey farm where he and his wife had a cabin.

Only 16 days earlier, Scott lost his closest friend, Mike Davey, to cancer. Mike participated in almost all family activities and was always a cherished part of their life. Scott was looking forward to hunting this year, therefore June and Daniel are going to take him one last time.

Scott is preceded in death by his mother, Marilyn Pizzini; his grandparents and his extended family, Bob and Betty Davey and Mike and Carol Davey and Father in Law, Verald Grassel.

Scott is survived by his wife, June Pizzini; his son, Daniel Pizzini; their dog, Rusty; father, Angelo & Marlene Pizzini of Havre; siblings, Susan (Robert) Watson of Havre, Mike Pizzini of Havre; Robert (Mary) Pizzini of Havre, Joan Membrino of Massachusetts, Lori (Page Falconer) Pizzini of Florida, Shelli Willman of Great Falls; mother-in-law, Joan (Lauren Wombold) Grassel of Havre; brother-in-law, Gary (Diana) Grassel of Billings; sister-in-law, Julie Bauer of Havre; nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and extended family, Susan (Allan) Leens, Carolyn (Greg English) Shepperd, Debbie Keller and Martin Davey, all of Havre, and his many close friends.
