Officers investigated a found property report after a caller from Northern Montana Hospital reported Tuesday at 1:46 p.m. that a bike was found near the second floor entrance.

Officers investigated a theft report after a caller reported Tuesday at 4:35 p.m. that her granddaughter’s ex-boyfriend was charging to their Carquest account.

Meagan Lashae Ball, 24, of Havre was arrested on a charge of endangering the welfare of children and on a Justice or City court warrant after callers from a 1st Street Northeast address reported Tuesday at 6:51 p.m. that a baby in diaper was walking around outside and that someone witnessed the father strike the child.

Alan Patrick Romero, 54, of Havre was arrested on two Justice or City court warrants after a 1st Street caller reported Tuesday at 8:03 p.m. that a woman and a man were “doing something weird” behind the building.

Officers investigated a disturbance after callers from Lincoln Street reported Tuesday at 10:07 p.m. that they heard a screaming child and dogs fighting at the same house.

Officers investigated a theft report after a 1st Avenue caller reported this morning at 3:55 that a man stole a wallet from a pickup truck.

Hill County Sheriff’s Office

Deputies investigated a vandalism report after a 2nd Avenue Southwest caller reported Tuesday at 10:57 a.m. that the screen on the back window had been cut out.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to one call Tuesday.

Fire crews responded to a call on the 1600 Block of 7th Street North Tuesday at 9:17 p.m., because a gas odor was detected. A loose appliance connection was found and the proper adjustment made. No further action was necessary.
