Officers investigated a motor vehicle crash after a 4th Street caller reported Wednesday at 6:38 p.m. that a suspect in a red Chevrolet with a flatbed hit and ran.

Hill County Sheriff’s Office

Deputies made two arrests after a caller off U.S. Highway 87 reported Wednesday at 8:28 a.m. that a vehicle pulled on the side of the road was in need of assistance. Althea Lynn Ahehakew, 53, of Box Elder was arrested on five Justice or City court warrants, and Leann Ahenakew Gardipee, 40, of Box Elder was arrested on four Justice or City court warrants.

Deputies made an arrest in relation to a report made Wednesday at 1:02 p.m. from a 9th Avenue caller who said a dog was found on St. Joe Road.
