Letter to the Editor: End of Havre DAV van is likely

The Havre Disabled American Veterans van has come to a point that it will no longer be able to operate for lack of drivers and a coordinator.

As of June 30 there is only one driver for the van and that is not enough to meet the needs of local veterans and guidelines of DAV. The van needs at least three more drivers and a coordinator to continue operations.

At least 50 veterans in the area have used the DAV van in the past and will have to find another means to travel to medical appointments in the future.
