Hill County Justice Court

The following cases were resolved in Hill County Justice Court by Judge Audrey Barger July 1-12.

Danilo Dos Reis, born in 1984, was given a deferred imposition of sentence and fined $100 for each of two charges: criminal possession of drug paraphernalia and criminal possession of marijuana, first offense.

Brady Davis, born in 1981, forfeited $585 bond and was fined $250 and sentenced to 180 days in jail, 178 days suspended, for driving while privilege to do so was suspended or revoked.

Chris Louis Vaughn, born in 1978, was fined $600 and sentenced to 180 days in jail, 179 days suspended and one credited, for operating a vehicle with .08 percent blood alcohol concentration or greater, first offense.

Curtis Adam Bilger, born in 1979, was fined $250 and sentenced to 10 days in jail, all days suspended, for failing to carry proof of vehicle insurance, first offense.

Tia Louise White, born in 1995, was fined $250 and sentenced to 10 days in jail, all days suspended, for failing to carry proof of vehicle insurance, first offense.

Roxanne Gone, born in 1950, forfeited $200 bond for driving without a valid driver’s license.

——

David Leeroy Allen, born in 1970, was fined $200 and sentenced to 180 days in jail, all days suspended, for driving without a valid driver’s license and was fined $250 and sentenced to 10 days in jail, all days suspended, for failing to carry proof of vehicle insurance, first offense.

Richard Lawrence Gallegos, born in 1959, was fined $20 and sentenced to 180 days in jail, 178 days suspended, for seatbelt violation and was fined $250 for driving without a valid driver’s license, has never possessed one.

Kiel Tyson Gray, born in 1984, was fined $200 and sentenced to 180 days in jail, 172 days suspended and eight credited, for driving while privilege to do so is suspended or revoked.

Chaska Nakoda Earthboy, born in 1987, was fined $100 and sentenced to 180 days in jail, 170 days suspended and 10 credited, for obstructing a peace officer or other public servant.

Geoffrey Richard Hannie, born in 1980, was fined $100 and sentenced to 180 days in jail, 177 days suspended and three credited, for criminal possession of drug paraphernalia.

——

Nikkita Cheryl Obergfell, born in 1986, forfeited $250 bond for failing to carry vehicle insurance, first offense.

Judge Barger also dealt with 14 tickets resulting in fines of less than $100 or jail sentences of fewer than seven days, and she or the prosecution dismissed five charges. Barger transferred three citations to another court and held five probable cause hearings for cases out of her jurisdiction.
