Training set for innovators, inventors

Local innovators, inventors and researchers are invited to attend a workshop at Montana State University-Northern Wednesday to learn key concepts on how to take an idea all the way to production and the market.

The Montana Office of Tourism and Development is hosting a training session at noon Wednesday in The Fireside Room in the Student Union Building at Northern.

Christie Bell of the state Department of Commerce’s Montana Technology Innovation Partnership will host the one-hour workshop.

Topics covered will include intellectual property, funding innovations and going to market.
