A group trying to create a center to fight poverty in off-reservation Native Americans and all north-central Montanans is holding a fundraiser Saturday.

The group is holding a spaghetti dinner, including salad and garlic bread, Saturday from 4-8 p.m. at Havre Eagles Club to help pay the startup costs for the North Central Montana’s First Nation’s Center of H.O.P.E, Helping Others Through Prevention and Education.

Admission to the fundraising dinner is $7 per person or $20 for a family of four.

The group meets the first and third Tuesday of each month at Gram’s Ice Cream on First Street at 6 p.m. Everyone is invited to attend the meetings, which include a potluck supper.

For more information, people can visit the group’s Facebook page or call Elaine at 301-1907.
