Rocky Boy looks for skate park of its own

For eight years Vincent Denny has been seeking out places to skateboard on Rocky Boy's Indian Reservation, and now he wants to build one for the community.

"I am not the best skater, but I can stay on a board," Denny, 21, said Sunday.

Tribal officials have selected a likely site on which to build Denny's dream and are pitching the idea to a rock star for funding.

Denny, a young, soft-spoken skateboarder, splits his time between Havre, where he sometimes stays with his younger brother, and the reservation, on which he was raised and is a second-semester student at Stone Child College.
