Havre Police Department

Officers made two arrests Tuesday at 1:34 p.m. near Washington Avenue. Melinda Rose Cochran of Havre, 35, was arrested for driving without insurance and on a Justice or City court warrant, and Joshua David Rainingbird of Box Elder, 34, was arrested on a Justice or City court warrant

Rachel Nicole Blaquiere of Rocky Boy, 35, was arrested on a shoplifting charge after a First Street business caller reported Tuesday at 3:13 p.m. that a shoplifter was in custody.

Someone was issued a summons after a Sixth Street caller made an animal control complaint Tuesday at 3:20 p.m.

Officers made two arrests Tuesday at 5:20 p.m. at the Amtrak train station after receiving a report of a drug offense. No further information was provided.

Officers investigated a fraud report after someone came to the police station Tuesday at 8:19 p.m. to make the report.

A 17-year-old was issued a summons for the charge of juvenile curfew violation after someone made a report Tuesday at 11:12 p.m., asking to speak to an officer about a son who wasn’t coming home.

Officers investigated an incident this morning at 2:18 a.m. on 8th Street of an unattended vehicle with the flashers on.

Hill County Sheriff’s Office

Fredrick Anthony Tidzump of Havre, 33, was arrested on a Justice or City court warrant after turning himself in Tuesday at 9:01 p.m. at the Hill County Detention Center.

Two people were issued summonses after a caller from a U.S. Highway 2 business reported Tuesday at 10:09 p.m. that someone was swapping price tags. Ramona Duran Gardipee of Box Elder, 35, and Carla Rose Striker of Box Elder, 54, were each issued a summons for shoplifting.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to three calls Tuesday and two Wednesday.

Fire crews responded to five calls Tuesday, all of them people who reported smelling gas. All the concerns were investigated and unfounded.

Births

A boy was born Sunday, Sept. 11, 2016, to Jeremy and Jeanna Echols of Big Sandy.

A boy was born Monday, Sept. 12, 2016, to Tracey Tipton of Walter Snell of Havre.
