Helmbrecht featured artist at Artitudes with 'Raku to Roku' show

Local artist Steve Helmbrecht is the featured artist at Artitudes Gallery in the upper level of the Atrium Mall for October and November.

Artitudes is displaying "21st Century Ceramics: Raku to Roku," pottery by Helmbrecht that includes 21st century ceramic techniques from laser cut stencils to New Age raku. 

The gallery is hosting an artist reception from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 14, at the gallery in the mall at 220 Third Ave.

The gallery invited people to come to the reception for music and food and to talk with the Helmbrecht about how his pottery is made.
