Member says fair board looking at entry fee

After making a joking comment about it during its monthly board meeting, a member of the Great Northern Fair board said Tuesday night that serious discussion is taking place about charging admission to next year’s fair.

“I would say it is going to materialize for the fair next year,” board member Scott Doney said after the meeting

He said the topic is in the discussion phase and no decision on whether to charge admission or specifics about a possible fee structure have been made.
