Scott Friede replaced as Chinook head coach

Chinook head football coach Scott Friede will not be on the sidelines for today’s Northern C finale in Hays.

Chinook superintendent Darren Hannum told the Havre Daily News’ Chris Peterson on Tuesday that Friede has been replaced for Chinook’s final game by assistant coach Christian Lehnert on an interim basis. That game is set for today against the Hays-Lodge Pole Thunderbirds.
