Havre Police Department

Officers investigated an assault report after a Seventh Street caller reported Thursday 10:58 a.m. that someone was "grabbed and yelled out" Wednesday night.

Dixie Leigh Schroeder of Havre, 27, was issued a summons on a speeding charge Thursday at 12:11 p.m. near First Street.

Officers assisted a citizen Thursday after a First Street Northeast caller made the request at 3:12 p.m.

Officers investigated a vandalism report after a Fifth Street caller reported Thursday at 10:18 p.m. that someone threw eggs at her mother’s car.

Hill County Sheriff’s Office

The Sheriff’s dispatch log reported no investigations or arrests.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to five calls Thursday.

Fire crews responded to a call Thursday at 7:52 a.m. on the 100 Block of Second Street West after a caller reported that smoke was coming from a field. The smoke turned out to be morning fog and no further action was necessary.

Havre Animal Shelter

The animal shelter held this morning a black and brown shepherd mix, a brown pitbull mix, a black  pitbull mix, a tan pit bull-Labrador mix, a brown terrier puppy, a white and black hound, a yellow Labrador and a black border collie mix dog.

The animal shelter held Wednesday morning a tiger-striped gray cat, a 10-week-old orange kitten, two gray and brown 10-week-old kittens, a black and white 1-year-old cat, a gray adult tom cat, two black adult cats, a gray tiger-striped cat and a tiger-striped kitten.
