Writing on the interior window of Havre Home & Party announces Tuesday that the store is going out of business, just more than a year after it moved to its new location.
Fourteen months after the store moved into its location in the Atrium Mall Annex, Havre Home & Party is going out of business.
Jill Miller, who has been managing the store, cited the tough economy and competition from other retail chains such as the Dollar Tree in Holiday Village Mall as factors in the closing.
"This year is a slow economy; everybody is in the same position." Miller said.
She said the decision was made about three weeks to a month ago.
"It's pretty sad, because we put a lot of work into this place," Miller said.
Havre Home & Party opened in September 2015...
