Obituary: Donna Lee Williams

Donna Lee Williams passed away Nov. 23, 2016.

Donna loved God but her real religion was the backyard, the mountains, the open prairie, the Big Sky and her friends and family. Some of her best days were spent tending her tomato plants or walking in the sweet wild flowers of the Bear Paws. She was a caretaker to all life she came upon, be it a baby bird fallen from its nest, a stray cat or dog, or her sons and daughters.

Her laugh was unforgettable and infectious, and she used it often. She would sing "You Are My Sunshine" to any child in her lap and always had Mr. Blue Bird on her shoulder. She was beautiful, strong, independent, and everyone she met remembers her for her smile, quick wit, and funny stories.

Donna will go back to the earth, where we all belong, and will be at peace. "Day turns to night and night turns to day," she would say, which is the very truth she lived by, and where she is now.
