Lights topple Warriors in overtime

Thursday night, Montana State University-Northern head men’s coach Shawn Huse got his 300th career win when the Lights beat Montana Tech to open Frontier Conference play. But is was win No. 301 in Huse’ career that really showed what this Lights’ team has in store for the rest of the season.

On Saturday night in Lewiston, Idaho, the Lights stunned No. 15 Lewis-Clark State 66-62 in overtime to improve to 2-0 in conference play. The win was a big step for a young Lights’ team that was picked to finish fifth in the Frontier this season.
