Man asks for help finding missing brother

A former Havre man who reportedly went missing from a U.S. Air Force base in Little Rock, Arkansas, may be back in the area, and members of his family are looking for help finding him.

Mason Case said he and his family are concerned for the well being of his older brother Evan Case, 25, a Havre High School and Montana State University-Northern graduate.

"We are just trying to find him at this point," Mason Case said Thursday.

Repeated calls to the U.S Air Force's Office of Special Investigations about Case's possible AWOL status were not returned before print deadline.

Case said he received a call from military police Dec 2, after Evan Case was reported missing from the Little Rock air force base where he was stationed.

Mason Case said his brother's wife received a text message last Friday from Evan Case.

A digital location of the phone at the time he sent the text indicated he was on Rocky Boy's Indian Reservation.

Mason Case, who now lives in Missoula, said he then came up to Havre to search for his brother.

He said that, although a couple people said they had seen Evan Case, they did not know he was missing at the time and did not know where he was now or who, if anyone, he was with.

Evan Case is about 6 feet, 1 inch tall and 225 pounds with short dark hair who often has stubble on his face, though Mason Case said that he might now have a beard and longer hair.

People who have information on where Evan Case is can contact Mason Case at 945-0974.
