Havre Police Department

Officers investigated a complaint after a Fifth Street caller reported Wednesday at 10:53 a.m. that the house that was owned by the board of housing was broken into.

Officers investigated a non-injury motor vehicle crash at First Street and 17th Avenue after a report was made Wednesday at 10:58 a.m.

Officers investigated a disturbance after a Second Street caller reported Wednesday at 2:43 p.m. that someone was yelling and causing a ruckus.

Joshua Glen Reid of Havre, 37, was arrested on a Justice or City court warrant Wednesday at 9:22 p.m. on U.S. Highway 2 East.

Carl John Morsette of Havre, 44, was arrested on a Justice or City court warrant and a charge of carrying a concealed weapon Wednesday at 9:38 p.m. near Fourth Avenue.

Officers made two arrests and issued a summons after a disturbance was reported Wednesday at 10:54 p.m. at a First Street address. Tristin Trahant of Havre, 20, was arrested on charges of endangering the welfare of children, obstructing a peace officer, minor in possession, possession of dangerous drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia and on a Justice or City court warrant; Justin Ryan The Boy of Rocky Boy, 27, was arrested on charges of endangering the welfare of children, obstructing a peace officer, disorderly conduct and probation violation and on a Justice or City court warrant; and a 17-year-old was issued a summons on charges of obstructing a peace officer, disorderly conduct, resisting arrest and MIP.

Hill County Sheriff’s Office

Deputies investigated a theft/forgery/fraud report after a caller from 34th Avenue West made a report Wednesday at 2:01 p.m.

James Patrick Travis of Havre, 49, was issued a summons on a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia Wednesday at 4:15 p.m. at the Hill County Detention Center.

Harold Patrick Mitchell of Box Elder, 37, was transported to the Hill County Detention Center from Rocky Boy Police Department on a Justice or City court warrant Wednesday at 4:34 p.m.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to four call Wednesday and one today.

Fire crews responded to a fire call Wednesday at 4:28 p.m. on the 300 Block of Sixth Street, where an odor was reported. The odor turned out to be a sewer smell and no further action was necessary.

Havre Animal Shelter

The animal shelter held this morning a black and white feral cat, a black cat, a calico female cat, an orange male kitten, a gray and white male kitten, a tiger-striped male kitten, two gray and white cats and a long-haired, tiger-striped cat.
