The following cases were resolved in Hill County Justice Court by Judge Audrey Barger Nov. 1-9.

Shane Folgheraiter, born in 1993, was fined $250 and sentenced to 180 days in jail, 178 days suspended and two days credited, for driving while privilege to do so is suspended or revoked; was fined $250 and sentenced to 10 days in jail, all days suspended, for failing to carry proof of vehicle insurance, first offense; and forfeited a previous $670 bond.

Chauncey Gray, born in 1980, was given a deferred imposition, fined $400 and ordered to pay $100 restitution for criminal possession of marijuana, first offense.

James Carl Booker, born in 1964, was fined $150 and sentenced to 90 days in jail, all days suspended, for reckless driving, first offense.

Jennifer Mae Hurd, born in 1984, was fined $500 and sentenced to 180 days in jail, 178 days suspended and two credited, for negligent endangerment, amended from driving under the influence, first offense.

Charnez Denny, born in 1998, was given a deferred imposition of sentence and fined $100 for theft, obtaining or exerting control over property, first offense.

Jasper Leon-Junior Lewis, born 1996, was given a deferred imposition of sentence and fined $400 for criminal possession of marijuana, first offense, and was fined $600 and sentenced to 180 days in jail, 179 days suspended, for driving under the influence, first offense.

Christopher William Adkins, born in 1976, was given a deferred imposition of sentence and fined $500 for negligent endangerment, amended from DUI, first offense.

Jeri Ann Virginia Salazar, born in 1993, was fined $600 and sentenced to 180 days in jail, 178 days suspended and two credited, for DUI, first offense.

Mavis Lynn Cochran, born in 1967, was sentenced to 180 days in jail, 103 days suspended and 77 credited, for obstructing a peace officer or other public servant. In a later case, Cochran was sentenced to 180 days in jail, all days suspended, for criminal possession of drug paraphernalia

Anthony Joel Ardizzone, born in 1981, was fined $250 for driving without a valid driver’s license.

Triston Ehry, born in 1998, was fined $50 and sentenced to 180 days in jail, 178 days suspended, for criminal possession of drug paraphernalia.

Judge Barger also dealt with 12 tickets resulting in fines of less than $100 or jail sentences of fewer than seven days, and she or the prosecution dismissed five charges. Barger transferred seven citations to another court and held four probable cause hearings for cases out of her jurisdiction. Additionally, two suspended sentences or deferred impositions of sentencing were revoked and reinstated and one probation and parole violation went before the judge.
