Isaac Warp, Havre Boys Basketball

The Havre Blue Ponies got their biggest win of the season when they beat the Lewistown Eagles Saturday night in the HHS gymnasium. And senior Isaac Warp had his biggest outing of the year. Warp, who had an outstanding fall playing football for the Ponies, scored 21 points and hit four 3-pointers in Havre's win over the Eagles. Warp also scored 13 points in the Ponies' loss at Fairfield Friday night. Warp earned Class A All-State honors this past season in football.

Jaylynn Mitchell, Rocky Boy Girls Basketball

It was a big week for the Rocky Boy Morning Stars, and in their two wins, Jaylynn Mitchell was outstanding. On Saturday night, Mitchell poured in a career-high 24 points as the Morning Stars beat Choteau in a 1B showdown in Choteau. She also scored 11 points in a win over Shelby last Tuesday and another 10 in Rocky Boy’s loss to Malta Friday night. For the week, Mitchell averaged 17 points and six rebounds per game and helped the Morning Stars stay in the hunt in the 1B.
