County Commission seeks to fill park and fair board vacancies

The Hill County Commission is seeking applicants for two county boards.

Press releases say the commission is seeking to fill a position on the Hill County Park Board held by Dave Wilson, who is resigning from the board. He started on the board in 1998.

It also is seeking to fill a slot on the Great Northern Fair Board formerly held by Missy Boucher, who joined the board in 2009.

The Park Board position would run through May 1, 2019, and the Fair Board seat through Jan. 1, 2020.

The Park Board oversees operation of the county-operated parks, including Beaver Creek Park south of Havre.

The Fair Board oversees operations of the Great Northern Fairgrounds, including the annual fair held in July.

The Commission will accept suggestions to fill the vacancies on both boards until Feb. 6, the releases say.
