Havre Police Department

Officers assisted a Boulevard Avenue resident who reported Thursday at 11:30 a.m. that her son’s father would not leave after being asked to.

Officers investigated a found property report after a Smithville Road caller reported Thursday at 3 p.m. that an abandoned bicycle was found against a light pole.

Officers investigated a found property report after a caller in the Atrium Mall parking lot reported Thursday at 4:42 p.m. that a set of vehicle keys were found in the parking lot.

Officers investigated a juvenile status offense after a caller reported Thursday at 10:17 p.m. that two daughters had not come home yet.

Darius Richard Moreno of Havre, 43, was arrested on charges of failure to produce proof of insurance and driving with a suspended or revoked driver’s license today at 1:56 a.m. at a First Street West business.

Hill County Sheriff’s Office

Deputies investigated a vandalism report Thursday at 12:50 p.m. at the Hill County Detention Center.

Raistlen Paul Katka of Havre, 25, was arrested on two Justice or City court warrants and charges of partner of family member assault, criminal mischief, violations of conditions release and threats in official and political matters.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to one call Thursday and one today.

Fire crews responded to a call Thursday at 1:32 p.m. on the 2100 Block of U.S. Highway 2 Northeast, where a gas odor had been reported. NorthWestern Energy verified that there was no gas leak and no further action was necessary.

Fire crews responded to a call this morning at 6:05 on the 10 Block of Third Street West, where a faulty alarm was triggered. The alarm was repaired and no further action was necessary.

Havre Animal Shelter

The animal shelter held Friday morning a brown weimaraner-pit bull mix, tan shepherd mix and a black shepherd.
