Havre Police Department

Mark Justin Denny of Rocky Boy, 42, was arrested on a criminal trespass to property charge after a First Street West business caller reported a complaint Wednesday at 7:03 a.m.

Officers investigated a disturbance after a Main Street caller dialed the police department and hung up Wednesday at 10:54 a.m.

Officers investigated a theft after a Wednesday at 11:12 a.m. report from Third Street of items missing from a wallet.

Officers investigated a theft report after a someone asked to speak to an officer about unauthorized use of checks Wednesday at 8:32 p.m.

Officers assisted another agency after a request came in from the Child Abuse Hotline today at 12:02 a.m.

Hill County Sheriff’s Office

The Hill County Sheriff’s Office reported no investigations or arrests Wednesday.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to one call Wednesday and one call today.

Fire crews responded to the 1200 Block of Clevelnd Avenue at 10:50 a.m. Wednesday where a faulty appliance was emitting gas, but not lighting. NorthWestern Energy was called to the scene. The appliance was shut off and will be replaced.

A boy was born Monday, Jan. 23, 2017, to Jenni and Zak Jones of Havre.

The animal shelter held Thursday morning a tan pit bull mix dog.
