Obituary: Art Weyh Jr.

Art Weyh Jr., 70 passed away peacefully due to complications from pneumonia Jan. 26, 2017.

Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be set at a later date.

Art was born and raised in Havre and briefly attended school at Northern Montana College, now Montana State University-Northern.  

He was called for duty and served his country in the U.S. Army during the Viet Nam war. After his honorable discharge he returned to Havre to pursue a career on the family farm north of Havre.

Art enjoyed watching sports. He played softball for many years.  Later in life, he spent the winter months in Hawaii, which he loved.

Preceding Art in death are his parents, Art (Hazel) Weyh and Helen (Don) Uran, sisters Dorothy Ruff, JoAnn Schubert and BettyLou Striker and a niece, Tracy Ruff Sandman.

Art is survived by his nieces and nephews Ed (Shari) Ruff, Sandi Wood, Cindy Schubert, Larry Schubert Jr., Cheryl Alm and Bob Hanson.
