Emergency medical personnel responded to two calls Thursday

Fire crews responded to a call at the 200 Block of Second Street after a fire alarm was set off Thursday at 10:41 a.m. The alarm company was working on the alarm and had set it off. No further action was necessary.

Fire crews responded to a call at the 600 Block of Fifth Street after a gas odor was reported Thursday at 7:28 p.m. NorthWestern Energy responded on the scene and may be still working on fixing a valve that may be leaking.

The animal shelter held Friday morning a black terrier mix and a tan and white Jack Russell terrier mix.
