Obituary: Ronald Richard Rowin

Our beloved brother, uncle and friend to anyone he ever met, Ronald Richard Rowin, went to be with his mother, father, brother and sisters in heaven Feb. 19, 2017.

Cremation has taken place. here will be no funeral services as Ron did not care for them and never attended them, so we will not make him attend his own. Graveside services and a celebration of Ron's life will be held at a later date.

Holland & Bonine Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.

Please visit Ron's online memorial page at http://www.hollandbonine.com to leave a message of condolence for Ron's family.

Ron was born in Havre Sept. 21, 1957, to Howard and Ella Rowin. Ron attended schools in Havre and worked at HRDC, Buttrey's and IGA until his retirement to the family farm.

On the farm, Ron would ride his quad, tend to his chickens, and collect and sell eggs. Ron prided himself with working on the farm by cleaning up the leaves in the fall and the fallen branches in the spring. Ron kept himself busy studying the driver's license manual. Ron was cared for lovingly by his sister, Sue, with the help of his nephews, Curt and Scott, and niece, Phyliss.

Ron always had a story to tell or a song to sing. He loved country music. If you dropped by the house, Ron was always ready to perform with his karaoke and sing you something from his collections of Elvis or Johnny Cash. You could not get in or out of the house without a warm love-filled hug from Ron. Ron was always seen with a giant smile on his face. He was the kindest, giving, loving and gentle man we have ever met.

Ron is survived by his siblings, Doris Bishop, Great Falls, Betty (Billy) Hafner, Laura Hafner, Sue Roberts and Dave (Dee) Rowin, all of Havre, and John Richard Rowin, Oak Grove, Oregon, and is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
