Obituary: Arnold "Mike" Brown

Arnold “Mike” Brown died Feb. 18, 2017, in Yuma, Arizona.

He was born March 30, 1927, the fourth child of Loren and Carrie Brown of Gildford, Montana.

Mike graduated from Gildford High School in 1945, served in the U.S. Army and went on to earn a Bachelor of Arts, A, a Bachelor of Divinity. and Doctor of Philosophy. He retired as a sociology professor from Northern Arizona University in 1992.

Arnold is survived by his wife, Harriet, and daughter, Rita, of Yuma, Arizona, son, Craig of Flagstaff, Arizona, a sister, Phoebe O’Dell of Finland, and brother, Dwight of Canada.
