Grief Poem April 7, 2017

No words can really express grief; it is a heart-felt pain.

It may take months, or even years, walking this lonely lane.

And yes, we cry from time to time, tears are recovering sign.

Tears are God’s gift to let us know, that some day we’ll be fine.

Wind sure can stir emotions up, we may have angry day.

We are not sure what the cause is, when clouds are low and gray.

Strong feelings sure can wear one out … we need a good night’s rest.

Lord, You know us for You made us, to rest in You is best.

That empty chair makes our heart sad; my ‘someone’s’ gone away.
