Northern rodeo underway

The MSU-Northern Rodeo team kicked off the spring season with the Montana State Rodeo last weekend in Bozeman.

The women's team was led to a second-place finish overall to by sophomore Calonna Slade. She finished second in the women's all-around. Slade finished second in the barrel racing and fourth in the breakaway. Tara Stimpson and Rybecca Panchuk also placed highly in their respective events.

The MSU-N men's team was led to a fifth-place finish by senior Andrew Leo and junior Victor Glen Phillips. The duo ended up second overall in the team roping.
