Leter to the Editor: Stand with Quist and he will stand with us

I am writing in support of Rob Quist to fill the vacant seat in the U.S House.

Although I am not a native Montanan, I feel I have met and spoken to enough Montanans to get an idea of the independent, can-do spirit that makes this state great.

Rob Quist has these qualities; he also has a practical, creative work ethic and willingness to negotiate that will move our country in a more compassionate direction. You can see his practicality in in his strong stand to keep public lands in public in order to provide job opportunities in tourism. His firm stand on gun rights protects our proud, self-sustaining tradition.

Rob’s creativity, as a businessman and a musician, will bring innovative ideas for solving the problems faced in our government.

Rob’s can-do spirit is displayed in his resiliency to pay his debts instead of declaring bankruptcy. It takes a strong person to face debt and forge ahead to clear it. He has independently followed his heart to make his living as a musician, a very competitive field. Now he is undertaking another difficult challenge.
