Havre Police Department

Roger John Brough of Havre, 56, was arrested on a state District Court warrant Wednesday at 8:29 a.m. at the Hill County Courthouse.

Officers investigated a complaint after someone made a report of elder exploitation Wednesday at 8:56 a.m.

Officers made an arrest Wednesday at 10:43 a.m. at the Hill County courthouse after an employee reported a male with a warrant. No more information was provided.

Officers investigated a fraud report after a 19th Street caller reported Wednesday at 2:55 p.m. that there were fraudulent charges on a checking account.

Geno Valdez Menard of Havre, 19, was arrested on charges of criminal contempt and revocation of suspended or deferred sentence Wednesday at 8:13 a.m. in relation to a 24/7 Sobriety Program violation.

Tammy Ann Marinkovich of Havre, 50, was arrested on a driving under the influence charge — refused to test — Wednesday at 9:29 p.m. near First Street West.

Morning Snow Wise Spirit of Havre, 32, was arrested on a Justice or City court warrant today at 12:39 a.m. near Second Street.

Hill County Sheriff’s Office

Kanen Lee Velasquez of Box Elder, 20, was arrested on a Justice or city court warrant Wednesday at 8:39 a.m. at the Hill County courthouse.

A 14-year-old boy was issued a summons on a juvenile curfew violation charge after a report was made Wednesday at 9:50 a.m. by a U.S. Highway 87 caller.

Roberta Small of Havre, 43, was arrested on a criminal trespass to property charge after a U.S. Highway 2 West business caller made a report Wednesday at 7:03 p.m.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to three calls Wednesday and one today.

Fire Crews responded Wednesday at 7:58 p.m. to the 1500 Block of Second Street, where a car fire was reported. The fire turned out to be a overheating car. No further action was necessary.

Animal Shelter

The animal shelter held this morning two female Labrador-border collie mix dogs , a female Labrador retriever, a female dachshund-Jack Russell terrier, a female German shepherd, a male Labrador-pit bull terrier mix, a mixed breed dog and a female pit bull terrier.
