OBITUARY - Adrian Wade Sun Child Sutherland

Adrian Wade Sun Child Sutherland of Spokane, Washington, 29, died Sunday, June 4, 2017.

Traditional wake services began today, Thursday, June 8, 2017, at noon at the Rocky Boy Senior Citizens Center and will continue until Friday, June 9, 2017, at 10 a.m. when funeral services will take place. Burial to follow at Rocky Boy Cemetery.

Holland and Bonine Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.

Adrian was born Feb. 9, 1988, in Great Falls to Kenneth Sutherland and Cindy Sun Child. He was raised and attended Medicine Wheel Academy in Spokane. After school, he worked various jobs.

Adrian relished in time spent with family and friends, especially with his son, Aaron. Together they would watch movies, play video games, and watch the Minnesota Viking play. He was a joker and had a great sense of humor. Adrian enjoyed going for walks around the neighborhood. He was also a wonderful cook, and aspired to go to culinary school.

He was preceded in death by a brother and a sister; grandparents Ned and Theresa (Houle) Sun Child and Sharon (Sutherland) Zampich; great-grandparents Fanny (Oats) Sun Child and John Two Teeth, Roy and Cecelia (Kennewash) Houle and Pete and Angeline (Denny) Sutherland.

Adrian is survived by his parents, Kenneth Sutherland of Great Falls and Cindy Sun Child of Spokane; son, Aaron Sutherland of Spokane; sisters, Miley Sun Child and Tomi Lehner of Spokane and Nicki Sands of North Carolina; brother, Ryan Sutherland of Spokane; five grandchildren, two nieces, five nephews and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
