Officers investigated after a Seventh Street caller reported Wednesday at 8:46 a.m. that a mailbox was knocked over.

Officers investigated after a caller near 13th Street reported Wednesday at 11:52 a.m. that a GMC Jimmy and a Dodge van had crashed into each other.

Officers investigated after a First Street West business caller reported Wednesday at 1:03 p.m. that a female walked out with two 30-packs of beer without paying for them Saturday.

Officers investigated after a caller near a U.S. Highway 2 business reported Wednesday at 2:13 p.m. that someone keyed her rental car.

Leah Huntley of Laredo, 39, was arrested on charges of failure to produce or carry insurance, third or more, driving with a suspended or revoked driver’s license and criminal contempt Wednesday during a motor vehicle stop on Sixth Street at 7:55 p.m.

Officers investigated and made an arrest after a Third Street caller reported Wednesday at 8:04 p.m. that a maroon Nissan was stolen. No further information was available on the arrest.

Officers investigated after a 10th Street West caller reported Wednesday at 8:07 p.m. that two vehicles had been vandalized the previous day.

Officers investigated a motor vehicle crash near Pepin Park  after a caller reported the incident Wednesday at 8:33 p.m.

Officers investigated after a Third Street caller reported Wednesday at 9:29 p.m. that a house had been broken into.

Clayton John Allery of Box Elder, 22, was arrested on a Justice or City court warrant, and charges of criminal contempt and obstructing a peace officer Wednesday at 10:22 p.m. near a Second Street business.

Regina Mae Moreno of Havre, 41, was arrested on a criminal contempt charge Wednesday at 11:54 p.m. near a First Street Northeast address.

Officers investigated after a First Street caller reported today at  12:44 a.m. that he was having a problem with his nephew.

Officers investigated after a caller near a First Street West business caller reported today at 1:43 a.m. that a drunk man had passed out in the smoke stack.

Tevin Horn of Hays, 21, was issued a summons on a partner or family member assault charge after a caller from Northern Montana Hospital reported today that a patient wanted to report an assault.

 

Hill County Sheriff’s Office

Justin David Miller of Gildford, 31, was arrested on a driving with a suspended or revoked driver’s license charge Wednesday  during a motor vehicle stop on Montana Avenue at 10:20 p.m.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to three calls Wednesday and one today.

Fire crews responded to a call Wednesday at 3:59 p.m. on 20 West of Third Street where a smoke alarm had been triggered after someone had blown out candles and resulting smoke set off the alarm.

Animal Shelter

The animal shelter held this morning a female German shepherd, a female Labrador retriever and a female pit bull terrier.

The animal shelter held this morning two short-haired and four medium-haired cats.
