Seven first-place and 12 other awards presented by the Montana Newspaper Association Saturday in Lewistown to the Havre Daily News are displayed this morning at the newspaper office.

The Havre Daily News brought back multiple awards from Friday and Saturday's 132nd Annual Convention of the Montana Newspaper Association after the Better Newspaper Contest awards banquet in Lewistown, with publisher Stacy Mantle accepting 19 awards including seven first-place plaques.
"This was a great year for the Havre Daily," Mantle, who earned many of the awards herself, said this morning. "It has been a while since we have earned this many awards.
"I am looking forward to working together with the staff, so we can continue earning many more awards at future convent...
