Display linking cultural life to health opening at Fort Belknap

A traveling display discussing the link between community and tradition to health and illness in Native cultures has a grand opening set for Wednesday at Aaniiih Nakoda College on Fort Belknap Indian Reservation.

The ribbon cutting and grand opening of “Native Voices: Native Peoples’ Concepts of Health and Illness” is set to start at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Room 213 of Returning Buffalo on the college campus.

Speakers will talk about topics including diversity, equity and inclusion in health care.

The event is free and open to the public.
